We at DHRW (Digital Human Rights Watch), who fight for human rights in the digital world, have a very special new colleague. We are thrilled to introduce you to our mascot, Sentor™, a steadfast guardian who will protect us from invisible threats, empathize with the pain of victims, and march toward justice.

A Watcher Born in the Dark Digital Forest

Sentor is a 'digital wolf' born in the dark digital forest. Just as a wolf uses its superior senses to detect danger and protect its pack, Sentor has a special ability to perceive the pain and risks that people often miss. From non-consensual image abuse and cyberbullying to sophisticated deepfake threats, no digital crime can escape Sentor's keen senses.

The founders of DHRW discovered Sentor as a guardian to protect digital human rights and made him a symbol of surveillance, protection, and healing.

Who is Sentor™?

• Name: Sentor™ combines the meaning of Sense, for detecting danger, and Mentor, a helper who guides victims.

• Personality: Usually calm and level-headed in assessing situations, but stands on the side of the suffering and protects them with a warmer heart than anyone else. Watches over silently and appears at the decisive moment to act for justice.

• Abilities: Equipped with optimal abilities to combat digital crime, including digital threat detection, illegal wiretapping and deepfake detection, and victim location tracking and protection.

• Symbolic Colors:

  • Dark Gray: 'Protection' to firmly shield victims.

  • Electric Blue: 'Surveillance' to see through threats in the darkness.

  • Silver: 'Justice' that never compromises.
